The New Zealand company, Black Mandala, has secured global distribution rights for the period slasher thriller “No One Will Hear Your Scream,” which is set during the 1990 soccer World Cup.

In Mariano Cattaneo’s chilling direction, I find myself immersed in an Argentine-based horror tale as Micaela, a record store employee specializing in mixtapes. As I craft tunes for customers, I unwittingly unleash a killer linked to me through a mix tape I produced and sold. With each Argentina World Cup game heralding the arrival of a fresh victim, I’m in a desperate sprint to expose this murderer’s face before I may become the grim finale’s target.
