Tanner Buchanan, Garrett Wareing and Quvenzhané Wallis to Star in Supernatural Horror ‘Hide and Don’t Speak’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Tanner Buchanan, Garrett Wareing, and Quvenzhané Wallis will appear in the upcoming supernatural horror film titled “Hide and Don’t Speak.” This movie is being directed by Alexander J. Farrell, known for his work on “The Beast Within.

Media Range, responsible for creating shows like “Longlegs” and “The Monkey,” is leading the project as they present it to potential buyers during the Cannes event, in association with Mister Smith.

In “Hide and Silence,” a group of six adolescents engage in a petrifying online trend from Japan, where they call forth a vindictive ghost to participate in a lethal game of hide-and-seek. This is the gist of the storyline.

Buchanan has been featured in “Cobra Kai” and a show called “How to Date Billy Walsh.” Wareing has acted in “Perfect,” “God Is a Bullet,” and Netflix’s “Ransom Canyon,” and will soon be seen on screen in “The Long Walk.” Wallis was the youngest actress ever nominated for an Oscar, which she received for “Beasts of the Southern Wild.” She recently performed alongside Jennifer Hudson in “Breathe.

Range also has “Dangerous Animals” premiering in Cannes’ Directors Fortnight.

At present, “Hide and Don’t Speak” is being prepared for production, slated to start later this year. The script is penned by Farrell and Greer Ellison, and the film takes inspiration from the popular online game called hitori kakurenbo. In simpler terms, the movie is currently under development with plans to begin shooting soon. It has a screenplay written by Farrell and Greer Ellison, and it’s based on the well-known internet game hitori kakurenbo as a source of inspiration.

Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger, together with Matt Coatsworth, are set to produce a project, while Noah Reich, Oliver Riddle, and Tom Daley of Range will serve as executive producers.

As a cinephile, I had the pleasure of watching “Hide and Don’t Speak,” the inaugural production from Range’s innovative genre lineup. This captivating film was brought to life under the watchful eye of Reich in their London headquarters.

With Mister Smith handling international sales, UTA and Range Select are co-repping U.S. rights.
