During her stay at a Tokyo hotel, a woman traveling alone unexpectedly uncovered a startling secret when she spotted a man concealed beneath her bed.
April 25 saw model Natalisi Taksisi posting on Instagram about an unsettling incident that occurred during her stay at a Tokyo hotel. In her post, Natalisi detailed an odd sensation she encountered upon returning to her room after city exploration, as she detected an unusual odor emanating from beneath her bed.
Following a day of touring, I returned to my hotel room around 7:30 in the evening. As customary, I opened the door, removed my garments, and settled onto the bed. It was then that an odd odor caught my attention.
At first, Natalisi assumed the strange odor came from her hair or bed linens, but soon discovered it was actually emanating from beneath her bed.

As I peered down, I noticed a set of eyes fixed on me, she recounted in her Instagram post. ‘There was an Asian man hiding beneath my bed, which caused me to shriek and quickly stand up.’
Once discovered, the man emerged from beneath the bed and momentarily gazed at Natalisi before shouting and hastily exiting the room.
Natalisi expressed that those moments seemed as if her life had ended. She cried out for assistance, and eventually, the hotel staff arrived and contacted the authorities.
Upon arriving, officials inspected the room and found a power bank and a USB cable hidden beneath the bed. As shared by Natalisi, the hotel personnel mentioned that the police might not locate the intruder since the building doesn’t have CCTV cameras installed.

In her disclosure, Natalisi shared that she opted for APA Hotel, a reputable hotel chain with numerous properties in Japan totaling over 300, because it seemed reliable and utilized keycard access. Yet, after the unsettling occurrence, the model decided to leave ahead of schedule and requested a return of her payment due to worries about safety.
The hotel has addressed Natalisi’s concerns, expressing regret over the incident and arranging for a refund. Regarding the person responsible, the hotel explains that due to a lack of video footage showing entry and exit, it’s challenging to pinpoint the offender. Consequently, the incident cannot be classified as a crime, making further investigation difficult.
A detective paid a visit to the hotel for an initial probe, during which he collected fingerprint samples, but unfortunately, he couldn’t pinpoint the perpetrator in the end.
Natalisi lamented, ‘If only this were just a tale,’ but alas, it was reality. He wished it hadn’t occurred, but it did. Remain secure, and always ensure your room is secure. Rely on your intuition.
