However, for those who prefer stories from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, Stanley Tucci is transporting viewers back to Italy. Moreover, there’s a brand-new preschool series featuring Minnie Mouse for the younger audience. Additionally, several other exciting new releases are joining the streamer just in time for summer. ‘Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld’ (Season 3)

The upcoming season of this anthology series, titled “Tales of the Underworld“, debuts on May 4th. Previously referred to as “Tales of the Jedi” in its first season and “Tales of the Empire” in its second, this show explores the lives of secondary characters within the vast Star Wars galaxy. The initial season delved into Jedi from the prequel trilogy period, while the following season centered on characters tied to the Empire. The current season focuses on bounty hunters operating in the criminal underworld during the peak of the Empire’s power.

According to Disney+ and Lucasfilm, the upcoming season chronicles the journey of Asajj Ventress, a former dark side assassin, who receives a second chance at life. She finds herself on the run with an unanticipated new companion. Meanwhile, outlaw Cad Bane encounters his past as he squares off against an old friend who has switched sides and now serves as a marshal.

In the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Bad Batch, characters Ventress and Bane have made appearances, with Bane also showing up in live-action form in The Book of Boba Fett. On May 4th, six new shorts by Matt Michnovetz will premiere. In the meantime, you can catch up on season 2 of Andor, as it’s currently airing. Tidings from the Underworld will be available for streaming on May 4th.

‘Tucci in Italy’ (Season 1)

Stanley Tucci has a long-standing connection with Italy. In 2021 and 2022, his CNN series titled “Stanley Tucci: Exploring Italy” allowed him to immerse himself in this beautiful country once more. The upcoming program from National Geographic is expected to delve into the captivating realm of Italian cuisine. In this latest venture, Tucci plans to explore various unique regions of Italy, savoring their culinary offerings, appreciating their cultures, uncovering their histories, and marveling at their diverse landscapes.

‘Minnie’s Bow-Toons: Pet Hotel’ (Season 1)

Minnie Mouse, who debuted alongside Mickey in the 1928 short film “Steamboat Willie,” is one of the oldest characters in animation. This means she’s probably older than most people reading this by several generations. Although she has always been with Mickey, the series “Minnie’s Bow-Toons: Pet Hotel” is unique as it bears her name in its title. The series of shorts aired on Disney Junior from 2011 to 2016 and was later revived as an online series in 2021.

The latest installment of Minnie’s Bow-Toons, titled “Pet Hotel,” will debut on May 20th. In this series, Minnie Mouse and her pals Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow run a pet hotel. The first episode, called “Happy Barkday,” will air on Disney Channel, Disney Junior’s linear network, and YouTube channel before being made available to stream on Disney+ the following day. With over 90 years under its belt, it’s evident that the Mickey Mouse franchise is still going strong!
