Nintendo Switch gamers can look forward to getting hold of “Kingdoms”, a fresh thematic game mode that’s being added to “Darkest Dungeon II” as a free update. This new game mode, with a completely revamped structure, is a distinct alternative to the Confessions game mode and offers a parallel gaming experience. In the initial adventure module called “Hunger of the Beast Clan”, players will be challenged to protect the realm against The Beastmen, a completely novel enemy group.
A Fresh Character and Mini-Realm Join Inhuman Bondage Introduces a new playable character known as The Abomination, an isolated alchemist who comes with exclusive trinkets, personal items, color schemes, weapon sets, and a fully narrated backstory complete with interactive flashback scenarios. The Abomination’s unique combat feature enables him to morph into a terrifying beast – but beware, this transformation may lead to escalating tension! The Catacombs encourage players to navigate their stagecoach through an ancient, subterranean mini-realm filled with a corrosive, oozing danger. This challenging region offers both high rewards and risks, featuring a new faction of slime-soaked enemies and items, adding diversity and difficulty not only to the original Confessions mode but also to Kingdoms as well.
