Comedy Dynamics unveiled several fresh stand-up comedy shows as part of their “Spring Original Releases.
Four new comedy specials feature upcoming talents like Jay Jurden, known for “The Problem With Jon Stewart”, Bob the Drag Queen from “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, Chris Porter of “Last Comic Standing”, and Jiaoying Summers, host of the “Tiger Mom” podcast. These productions have been completed and are now in post-production, with plans for them to premiere towards the end of 2025.
The four comedy specials were recorded at the Joy Theatre in New Orleans and are helmed by Brian Volk-Weiss, founder of Comedy Dynamics. He refers to the “Spring Originals” as some of the most hilarious specials they’ve ever produced. Alongside him, Cisco Henson serves as an executive producer.
Jurden expressed that he believes this is the ideal starting point for his unique brand of humor, which packs an abundance of laughter into a compact space. It’s filled with black and LGBTQ+ perspectives, and let me tell you, it’s downright hilarious.

Porter expressed great pride in the unique project he’d put a lot of effort into, making it an entertaining journey through past times and our current state,” said Porter. “He also mentioned that it’s quite humorous.
Summers expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming release of ‘What Specie Are You?’, the show he’s touring internationally with right now. He finds it absurd that racism still exists, believing instead that we are all different species within the human race, just as dogs and cats are their own species. He jokes about every species, ensuring no one can silence him. As for his name, they may find it challenging to pronounce.
Comedy Dynamics functions as an autonomous comedy production firm, delivering stand-up specials across significant streaming services like iTunes, Amazon, Google, and others.
