A Simple Favor 3: Secret Storyline and Possible Plot Revealed

The sequel of “A Simple Favor” is now available on Prime Video, and due to the surprising ending, there’s a good chance we might see a third movie. In fact, according to director Paul Feig, it could potentially become a reality.

In the initial film, Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a popular mommy blogger, delved into the mysterious past of her new friend Emily (Blake Lively). The second installment amps up the action. Upon being granted parole, Another Simple Favor brings Stephanie and Emily back together in the beautiful locale of Capri.

In a mysterious turn of events, Emily unexpectedly chose Stephanie as her maid of honor, leading Stephanie to believe she was in danger. However, as the wedding commences, things are not as they appear, and it’s not solely Emily’s responsibility for the unfolding situation.

Simply put, the conclusion of Another Simple Favor leaves room for a possible sequel, and its director has hinted that a third movie could indeed materialize in reality.

In conversation with TopMob, Feig stated enthusiastically, “I’d absolutely love to be part of it, as I find it incredibly enjoyable working with this group once more.” Moreover, he has a clear idea about the narrative for A Simple Favour 3, but unfortunately, that intriguing storyline remains under wraps for now.

At the conclusion of Another Simple Favor, it appears that Emily’s wicked counterpart Charity accepts blame for her wrongdoings in a public setting, giving the impression that Emily is headed back to prison. However, the true Emily remains concealed in Rome, where she encounters Portia (Elena Sofia Ricci).

On the brim of the Trevi fountain, Portia expresses empathy towards Emily’s hardships, understanding that she wasn’t the one who caused harm to her son Dante (Michele Morrone). Yet, there’s a condition. Portia views Emily as kin now, and kin are expected to support one another during tough times.

In this scenario, Portia gives Emily an envelope, subtly asking for another small assistance. Although it’s suggested that the task could involve harming someone, the content of the envelope remains unclear, as neither its contents nor Emily’s response to it are shown on screen.

At the same time that Emily continues to interact with Stephanie even while in hiding, the plot for A Simple Favor 3 appears well-prepared. Interestingly, it’s revealed that Stephanie has been assigned the responsibility of raising Nicky, who is now living with her, as if he were her own child. Emily suggests this arrangement would offer a better life for Nicky with her.

As of writing, no official plans for A Simple Favor 3 have been confirmed.
