In the upcoming third film of the Now You See Me series, the star hints at a tense relationship between Jesse Eisenberg’s character, J. Daniel Atlas, and one of the fresh recruits. During this installment, Atlas gathers a new group of illusionists for an intricate trick. However, they are compelled to join forces with the original Four Horsemen when confronted by a fresh danger.
In an interview with ScreenRant, Dominic Sessa, portraying Bosco – one of the fresh recruits, discusses the challenges his character may encounter while working alongside Atlas. According to Sessa, Bosco, who serves as the representative of his team, is in a struggle for the same position or role that Atlas occupies. In essence, Bosco is attempting to match up to Atlas’s influence, which could lead to friction or disagreements. You can read his remarks below:
It seems my character is attempting to emulate another in some way. They find themselves competing for the same spot because, in this series, Atlas has always been the prominent figure – he’s the public face and people follow his lead. Additionally, Atlas carries an air of self-righteousness, which I believe is echoed somewhat in my character Bosco, potentially causing friction between them.
What Dominic Sessa’s Comments Means For Now You See Me 3
Bosco Shares Some Of The Same Traits As Atlas
In the trailer for “Now You See Me 3,” Bosco not only imitated Atlas, but boasted about it just as Eisenberg’s character entered the room. Conversely, Atlas mentioned that he had to recruit because of a disagreement with the other Four Horsemen. Sessa’s remark suggesting that Atlas has a “self-righteous attitude” may indicate that the main characters in the upcoming movie could have some personal issues to address.
As a cinema enthusiast, I must say that while Atlas seems to find himself in a solitary predicament at the start of the trailer, Bosco is fortunate enough to be surrounded by individuals he can rely on. In an interview, Ariana Greenblatt, who plays the cunning June, shared an interesting insight about their dynamic. She mentioned that since our trio functions like a family, if Atlas ever gives Bosco trouble, it wouldn’t just be a one-on-one confrontation; instead, he’d be up against all three of us!
Our Take On J. Daniel Atlas’ Journey Now You See Me 3
It’s Not Going To Be A Smooth Ride For Atlas
The trailer hinted that, despite their past disagreements and disputes, the eight characters would unite against Rosamund Pike’s criminal enterprise. Although elements like mind control, heists, and combating crime are expected to dominate the storyline of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the relationships among the characters will be fascinating and shrouded in mystery.
In the trailer, it seems Bosco bears a resemblance to a younger Atlas, yet he is not identical to him. This similarity might stir up some complex emotions for Eisenberg’s character. In Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, it’s possible that the more seasoned Four Horsemen may find themselves in a role of learning from this new, young group instead.
