However, if the risks aren’t real and there’s no real chance that these characters might face actual danger, I believe the show could lose its appeal.

It’s plausible to think that Bobby may not appear again in 911, considering his heartbreaking demise, although there’s a chance he could reappear through flashbacks or dreamlike scenes.

Even though missing Bobby regularly on “911” seems almost criminal, having the possibility of his character coming back in some way or another in the future could soften the harshness of his untimely end.
