Adin Ross disclosed that KICK intends to provide substantial financial incentives to individuals who clip and share Twitch content, aiming to amplify the dissemination of KICK highlights.
Over time, several competitors have attempted to unseat Twitch from its dominant position. Notably, platforms like Facebook Gaming, Mixer, and YouTube have all made attempts but, in the end, they were unable to overthrow the reign of this Amazon-controlled service.
KICK, the latest competitor in the field, is currently experiencing some initial victories. This platform, backed by Stake, has managed to secure contracts with several top-tier Twitch personalities on lucrative deals and introduced several user-friendly features that are reminiscent to both viewers and streamers. In fact, these similarities have led the CEO of Twitch, Dan Clancy, to directly accuse them of imitation.
One notable aspect is definitely the ability to create clips. Just like on Twitch, KICK streamers can easily grab a brief moment of excitement from their live stream and turn it into a clip.
Adin Ross reveals massive offer for Twitch clippers
For a while now, that particular feature has existed, but as per Adin Ross’s statement, KICK is planning to recognize and compensate its most active users.
In simpler terms, during a live broadcast on April 28th, Ross stated that he had a conversation with Eddie (Craven). According to Eddie, he asked Ross, “How can we obtain more clippers to cause trouble for KICK?” To which Ross replied, “Let’s take the clippers from Twitch,” and further added that the CEO of KICK is willing to offer them double if they do.
If you receive valuable clips as a streamer on the KICK platform, you’ll be generously compensated, almost twice as much. My clippers this month have earned approximately 100k. If you are a streamer on KICK and you employ clippers, their work will be rewarded appropriately.
Adin Ross has announced that KICK will be paying clippers 2x MORE money than what Twitch pays 🤯🔥

From my perspective as a dedicated fan, it’s fascinating to see how established streamers currently employ ‘clippers’ – individuals who skillfully create highlight clips for uploading on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. If KICK steps in, they’d shoulder the costs, freeing streamers from financial burdens associated with this service.
If given the chance, KICK could extend the reach of their highlights a bit more. However, for now, we’ll simply need to be patient and observe.
