Unexpectedly, Oblivion Remastered was unveiled on April 22nd, taking both gamers and competing games launched on the same day by surprise.
In a humorous twist, the publisher Raw Fury has decided to playfully re-release developer Red Soul’s indie survival horror game, Post Trauma, which was initially launched on April 22 and takes inspiration from classic PlayStation games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. This move comes as a response to Oblivion Remastered, which has seemingly overshadowed Post Trauma’s release.
Patience is key as great things eventually come to us, so we’ll wait with anticipation for Post Trauma: The Re-Release. #PostTraumaTheReRelease #Let’sHopeForNoRushedRestagingThisTime

In a recent video update on X, Raw Fury announced that the re-launch of the game will be titled Post Trauma: The Re-Launch, but with a twist – it’s not an un-launch first, and it’s largely similar to its original version. This event is being advocated using the hashtag “NoShadowDropThisTime.” Interestingly, they’ve set the re-launch date for June 23, which happens to match the time needed to complete Oblivion Remastered. It seems like a rather coincidental, yet convenient number they chose for this release.
On the special spiritual re-release day, you’ll find giveaways, live streams, and celebrations, so don’t miss out! After you’ve completed your playthrough of Oblivion.
In Post Trauma, you find yourself assuming the role of Roman, a train conductor who’s been transported to an unusual dimension after a panic attack. This realm resembles the Resident Evil series with its intricate puzzles, safe rooms, and fixed camera angles. As you journey through this dreamlike world teeming with terrifying monsters and unsettling landscapes, you’ll discover that Post Trauma is playable on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
Even indie games like Starless Abyss, reminiscent of Lovecraft, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a RPG inspired by Oblivion, were unexpectedly released within days of each other. While initial concerns suggested that the release of Oblivion Remastered might overshadow Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on its day-one launch (April 24), it appears these fears were unfounded. The lead actor of one of the games stated they can coexist, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has since sold over a million copies in just three days. To add to this, Bethesda reported that more than 4 million players have experienced Oblivion Remastered within these same three days.
