Despite the interpersonal dynamics being a significant aspect of what made Suits successful, and the intention behind the spin-off being to replicate those connections among the cast, the characters in Suits LA fail to captivate. Attempts at intrigue and betrayal aim to deepen their narratives, but instead, they only add more unappealing, tedious characters to the series. Characters who initially appeared engaging, like Rick Dodson and Erica Rollins, are rapidly losing their appeal, becoming increasingly unlikeable by this episode.
