Revealed: The True Killer of Yellowstone City’s Grisly Murders

The movie titled “Murder at Yellowstone City” offers numerous surprises as it delves into revealing the perpetrator. Featuring Richard Dreyfuss, Gabriel Byrne, and Thomas Jane, this film premiered in 2022 but has recently climbed up the Netflix rankings.

Murder at Yellowstone City’s Violent Crimes Explained

The murder at Yellowstone City unfolded when a local gold prospector named Robert Dunningham discovered a lucrative gold deposit nearby. With this find, Robert stood on the brink of becoming the wealthiest individual in the region. However, his life was tragically cut short by murder, leading to an ensuing investigation.

Following the gruesome death of the gold prospector, whispers of guilt started to point towards Cicero, a man formerly enslaved, who had recently arrived in town seeking tranquility after his long journeys. The suspicion stemmed from Sheriff Jim Ambrose and other residents.

Not long after Robert passed away, his spouse Emma arrived in town displaying an unexpected lack of interest in identifying her husband’s murderer. Instead, Emma became determined to uncover the identity of the woman who was involved in a romantic entanglement with her deceased husband.

In simple terms, Violet, the resident stable worker, asserted Cicero’s innocence to the sheriff, but was disregarded. This was despite her discovery of a letter in Robert’s house, which suggested that Emma, Robert’s wife, was having an affair with someone else.

However, it wasn’t just Robert’s killing that marred Yellowstone City in the 2022 Western. Shortly after discovering the letter, Violet also met her end.

In the final, tragic incident, it was Isabela, a woman from the neighborhood who was involved intimately with Robert outside of their respective relationships, who met her untimely end. This occurred when she momentarily turned her back on…

Who Is the Killer In Murder at Yellowstone City?

Initially, Cicero was suspected of the murders in “Murder at Yellowstone City” because his arrival coincided precisely with Robert Dunningham’s demise, and he happened to escape from jail on the same night that Violet’s throat was slit.

Sheriff Jim Ambrose made a grave threat against the ex-slave, declaring that he would be hanged if he did not admit to his alleged crimes in front of the entire town. Yet, Violet staunchly stood by him, insisting that he was incapable of murdering Robert.

However, Isabela’s murder in “Murder at Yellowstone City” unveiled a shocking truth: It was Jimmy Ambrose, the sheriff’s son and occasional deputy, who had orchestrated everything. Jimmy, enmeshed in an affair with Robert’s wife Emma, carried out the killings at her behest, hoping it would pave the way for their dream of a blissful future together.

However, it turned out that Emma wasn’t entirely truthful about her intentions. Instead, it appeared she aimed to oust Robert in order to seize his gold discoveries, as their relationship was marred by toxicity and mutual infidelities.

Moreover, Jimmy killed Violet since the note she discovered might reveal him as the culprit, and likely did the same to Isabela upon Emma’s demand, as Isabela was Robert’s most recognized mistress.

Jimmy murdered Violet because a letter she found could prove he was the one responsible for the crime, and he may have also killed Isabela at Emma’s behest, as Isabela was having an affair with Robert.

Although the title may lead to some misunderstanding, “Murder at Yellowstone City” has no relation to “Yellowstone” – a TV series whose sixth season is currently indefinitely postponed.
