Although DC Studios presents Superman as the “foundational start of the DCU,” it isn’t the initial release from the new universe. Instead, the latest odyssey for the blue brand commenced with the debut of Creature Commandos on Max in December 2024.

In the series, we were introduced to Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., a senior ARGUS agent leading Task Force M. Less than a year from then, you’ll see him in live-action for the first time in Superman, with Grillo continuing to portray the character.
