Despite Anna Kendrick not appearing in the sequel of “The Accountant”, its franchise director, Gavin O’Connor, has indicated that she is prepared to contribute to wrapping up the trilogy.

About Kendrick’s potential involvement, O’Connor mentioned they have had some initial discussions. He himself is working on another mystery film, having done so twice before. One topic they’ve discussed is the possibility of bringing Anna Kendrick back. Perhaps this time Christian will receive the love he deserves.

When Bill and I began discussing the second film, we emphasized that it wouldn’t be a typical romance. Instead, we envisioned a romantic tale revolving around brothers, similar to action-packed buddy movies like ’48 Hours’ or ‘Midnight Run’. As for the third movie, our goal has always been to resolve Christian’s quest for love and connection. I’m not sure what form that will take yet, but that’s the general idea.
