As a dedicated gamer, I’m finding myself in a bit of a pickle. Power Book III is barreling towards its season finale, but there’s a snag—Raising Kanan Season 4 Episode 8 seems to have vanished without a trace this week. The fans and I are left scratching our heads and feeling rather frustrated.
So far, the captivating TV series has consistently aired weekly since early March. By Episode 7, Kanan is searching for O-Cee, while Raq and Marvin are frantically seeking clarification, and Unique is making his presence known on the streets of Queens independently.
However, if you were anticipating the next installment to arrive as scheduled on April 25 (given its regular weekly pattern), there’s an unexpected issue.
You may have observed that Starz postponed Raising Kanan Season 4, Episode 8, but don’t worry, a fresh viewing date has been set for you to tune in and enjoy the upcoming episode!
Raising Kanan Season 4 Episode 8 is now delayed by a week
As a dedicated gamer, I’m hyped to share that the next episode of Power Book III: Raising Kanan, named ‘Truth of the Matter’, will drop on May 2, 2025, at 8 pm Eastern Time, only on Starz. Don’t miss it!
It’s puzzling that there hasn’t been an official explanation for the delay in airing Episode 8, as indicated by their social media accounts, which suggest a temporary halt in production. Interestingly, this appears to be a common occurrence with numerous popular TV shows on various streaming platforms and broadcasters.
Currently, both the 8th season of 9-1-1 and the 12th season of Chicago PD are facing a one-week delay. The network hasn’t provided an explanation for this postponement.
In regular situations, one might expect channel changes for sports or live events coverage. However, since Starz is an independent streaming service, it has the freedom to do as it pleases whenever it wants. Alternatively, the interruption could be due to other content being premiered concurrently, or perhaps Raising Kanan Season 4 needed to conclude on a specific day.
Regardless, fans are fuming that they’re having to wait longer than originally thought.
On Reddit, someone expressed their frustration by saying, “I absolutely despise those annoying break weeks. It’s just ridiculous.” Another user echoed this sentiment, saying, “This is really absurd. We eagerly wait for seasons, only to have them interrupted in the middle for some mysterious reason. I’m finding myself growing weary of Power.
A casual observer speculated, “This seems designed to maximize Starz’s revenue. If viewers join Starz solely for ‘Power’ and there are no breaks between episodes, starting from early March, they will complete the series by the first week of May. This gives them plenty of time to cancel their subscription before being charged for an additional month.
When Episode 8 of Season 4 airs on Starz, it promises to be quite thrilling. As Raq plans to alter the game yet again, her adversaries are determined to exact retribution. In the last teaser scene, a gun is fired at a vehicle’s windows, but it remains unclear who the shooter is or if anyone inside the car survived.
The situation is quickly becoming dire for Kanan, as he starts to suspect that Raq might have been involved in Fame’s demise. With aspirations of returning to the top, she seems ready to go to great lengths, but at what price will this come?
