EA Sports unveiled the launch dates of Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26 in a fresh trailer showcasing the football career path from high-school prospect to top-league star. Pre-orders are currently being taken for both titles, but with some conditions. For now, they can only be purchased for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Madden NFL 26 have not yet been made available. Unfortunately, this year’s sports games won’t be supported on PS4 or Xbox One either.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited to share some upcoming dates for two of my favorite sports games! First off, Madden NFL 26 is dropping on August 14. That’s a date I’ve got circled on my calendar! However, if you’re like me and love college football too, there’s more good news: College Football 26 will be available starting July 10.
Now, But hey, who knows? Maybe they’ll change their minds in the future. Until then, let’s enjoy the games as they come!
On the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store, it’s possible to pre-purchase games now. EA Sports is marketing a “MVP Bundle” priced at $150.00 which includes both games, but you can also purchase Madden 26 on its own for $70.00. As of now, standalone pre-orders for College Football 26 are not available.
