Oblivion Remastered Players Are Creating Extremely Cursed Characters: These Are Our Favorites

In a more contemporary and conversational style, Oblivion includes numerous fresh features and enhancements in Cyrodiil, yet one timeless element from the 2006 game that hasn’t changed is the infamously cursed character appearances.

In essence, in the original Oblivion game, it was primarily the NPC characters whose faces were quite terrifying. Although player-characters sometimes appeared odd as well, their faces weren’t as noticeable due to less focus on third-person perspective and a less refined version of that mode. Consequently, the somewhat awkward NPC appearances tended to overshadow the creations players made in the character creator. However, in Oblivion Remastered, both the game’s NPCs and the character creator have seen improvements. The NPCs look better, while the character creator offers more possibilities for players to create grotesque characters. There’s even a subreddit dedicated to sharing these creations: /r/OblivionAbominations.

Certainly, Without a doubt, the revamped character creator in Oblivion Remastered allows players to effortlessly design visually striking characters. However, it also simplifies the process for players to create characters that are downright terrifying. As soon as the game unexpectedly launched, social media began flooding with screenshots of user-created characters, making even the bug-eyed NPCs from Starfield seem welcoming in comparison. Here’s a selection of some particularly chilling examples.

Without a doubt, the chilling character, Sir Vancelot, has been making waves on various social platforms ever since his creator initially introduced him to the public.

Dumb and Dunmer

Ladies and gentleman, we’re back in business

This delightfully horrifying dark elf is truly the stuff of nightmares.

Shrek

So about the character creator.

This specific orc seems to exude quite a resemblance to Shrek after he’s had a bit too much plumping treatment.

Or, more casually:

This orc looks like Shrek after a round of excessive botox sessions.

Yu-Gi-Oh My God

My beautiful creation ❤️

Not-So-Handsome Squidward

Good enough?

Someone free him from his suffering.

Jimmy No-Tron

Ins’t he gorgeous?
by u/HappySlapp in OblivionAbominations

Depends on one’s definition of gorgeous.

Orange-In-Chief

He’s gonna make Skyrim the 51st state
by u/leskflow in OblivionAbominations

This Oblivion player-character is absolutely fantastic, hands down the best. There’s no exaggeration involved. Compared to other player-characters, they’re just not in the same league – utter failures, to be honest. It’s a consensus among all, so you can take my word for it.

I Have No Eyes And I Must Flush

Part Orc, Part Toilet.
by u/NilremR in OblivionAbominations

50% orc, 50% sleep-paralysis demon.

The Crimson Chin Deathclaw

Sir Chinchamp The Deathclaw Jr.
by u/Draculus in OblivionAbominations

He looks even more hilarious with his armor on.
