SD Gundam G Generation Eternal will add new Gundam SEED Recollection storyline on April 30 [Update]

Bandai Namco recently released a trailer, offering a sneak peek at the narrative for the forthcoming Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Recollection within the game SD Gundam G Generation Eternal. The trailer can be found directly below.

Bandai Namco has just unveiled plans for a fresh narrative called “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Recollection,” which will debut on April 30 as part of the SD Gundam G Generation Eternal game. This new tale, set to bridge the gap between the original Gundam SEED and its successor SEED Destiny, can be found in the list of Main Stages.

This unexpected news about the latest story didn’t seem to be part of the plans previously disclosed. Neither the initial launch schedule nor the roadmap for updates published prior to the game’s official release on April 16 mentioned

On another note, it’s not unprecedented for Bandai Namco to incorporate a new canonical story into their live-service games, as they have done so in Super Robot Wars DD by occasionally introducing post-Moon Dwellers canon lore from the SRW Original Generation series.

Bandai Namco has released additional information about SEED Recollection, focusing on the storyline’s exploration of Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala during a transitional period. Two new Mobile Suits were also announced: Kira’s “Dragoon Strike” and Athrun’s “Murasame Flight Trial Type”. Players can acquire and add these SD versions to their in-game teams.

Globally, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal can be played for free on both iOS and Android devices. After April 30th, when the SEED Recollection content is added, it will remain accessible throughout the game’s duration, as there are no indications of temporary playtime restrictions, unlike in Gundam SEED Astray.
