In the expansion pack known as “The Knights of the Nine” for Oblivion, you’re challenged with gathering Pelinal Whitestrake’s weapons and armor, divine relics, to vanquish the ominous Umaril. Among two expansions released for Oblivion, this is the other one, with “The Shivering Isles” being the first. This quest can be initiated as soon as you exit the tutorial, and this guide will show you how to kickstart it. The rewards for finishing Knights of the Nine include some top-tier equipment if your character leans towards heavy armor and weaponry; hence, it’s advisable to complete it early in your gameplay.
When you are ready to begin Knights of the Nine, head to the Anvil in the western Cyrodiil.
Inside the main gate, you will see a large chapel nearby; head there.

Across from the chapel, you will see a strange man, the Prophet, speaking. Talk to him.

As we converse further, assure him that you’ll locate the sacred Relics. This action will register the “Pilgrimage” mission in your log, and provide a map marking the locations of the crucial Wayshrines you need to visit and offer prayers at. This journey initiates your quest with the Knights of the Nine.
