Under the title “Her Private Hell,” as revealed by Neon, stars Charles Melton, Sophie Thatcher, Kristine Froseth, and Havana Rose Liu.

As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I’ve been eagerly anticipating “Her Private Hell,” which will be Nicholas Winding Refn’s first full-length feature since 2016’s captivating “The Neon Demon.” Over the past few years, Refn has ventured into television, with his works including the Amazon series “Too Old to Die Young” and the Netflix series “Copenhagen Cowboy.
For Melton, this movie represents another major collaboration with a prominent film director, following his successful debut on the silver screen in Todd Haynes’ “May December” (2023). Notably, he has also featured in “Warfare”, directed by Alex Garland.
Meanwhile, Thatcher is widely recognized for her roles in “The Boogeyman,” “Heretic,” and “Companion,” along with the series “Yellowjackets.” With its title and Refn’s past work, “Her Private Hell” might solidify her position as an emerging scream queen.
Actress Froseth, who is of American-Norwegian descent, portrayed a young Betty Ford in the Showtime series “The First Lady” and featured in Apple TV+’s show “The Buccaneers”. Her movie appearances include “Sharp Stick” and “How to Blow Up a Pipeline”, which was also picked up by Neon.
Actress and model Rose Lui has become well-known for her role as the lead in the satirical comedy “Bottoms” and more recently, she was seen in the Sundance hit film “Lurker.” Currently, she is involved in the production of Jesse Eisenberg’s yet-to-be-titled musical comedy with A24. Alongside Rose, the cast includes Julianne Moore, Paul Giamatti, and Halle Bailey.
