Death end re;Quest: Code Z set to release for Steam later this year

Idea Factory International has shared the news that Death end re;Quest Code Z will become available on Steam towards the end of the current year. This roguelike role-playing game is scheduled to debut for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on May 13th, which is just around the corner!

In simpler terms, Code Z is known as the third installment of the “Death End re;Quest” series and also stands as a spin-off. It introduces a new main character named Sayaka Hiwatari and incorporates roguelike dungeon elements.

Beyond announcing the Steam release, Idea Factory also unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer (viewable below). If you happened to overlook it, details about the Limited Edition are available here.

Looking forward to sharing with you that the role-playing game with roguelike elements, Death end re;Quest: Code Z, is set to go live globally on Steam in the year 2025! The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 editions of this game will be available for both physical and digital purchase in North America, as well as digital-only in Europe, starting May 13, 2025. In Europe, a physical version of the game will be released on June 27th, 2025.
