Korn singer launches new apparel line to turn any dog into a freak on a leash

Johnathan Davis from Korn has introduced a fresh collection of canine clothing as part of the progression of his brand, Freak on a Leash.

On the 22nd of April, Davis unveiled his partnership with trendy designer Ashton Michael to create high-end pet accessories such as studded collars, leads, playthings, and jackets.

The prices of the items vary; for instance, a leash extension costs $12, whereas the priciest options are the vests, priced at $75 and $80 each.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of merchandise featuring the nu metal music artist’s canine motifs will be donated to Pup Culture Rescue, a California-based charity that focuses on rescuing dogs and working to prevent their abandonment.

Korn dog products turn animals into metalheads

In a YouTube video announcing the dog apparel, Davis explained why he decided to create the items.

Davis expressed that the affection and happiness his dog provides him is unlike any other. He finds it hard to articulate this feeling; it’s a unique connection they share. Designing products for his dog that reflect his personal style and giving back to homeless dogs through the company, brings him a sense of satisfaction that touches even his coldest feelings.

The apparel items are inspired by stage clothes and Davis’ own personal style, but adapted to pets.

Ashton Michael stated, “You’re not just acquiring a piece of his brand for your pet, but also a piece of him as an artist. He’s the musician, the creator, the beloved figure we all admire. For me, the charm lies in the intricacies.

In preparation for a string of summer music festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe, and following that, the kickoff of the Korn Canada Tour starting in September 2025, Davis and his band are set to collaborate on something new.

In 2024, Slayer wasn’t left behind in the realm of unexpected collaborations either. They introduced their own “Raining Blood” hot sauce, which was crafted from some of the spiciest peppers globally.
