The ATX TV Festival is set to debut “The Waterfront” first, a fact that EbMaster can exclusively reveal. This exciting event happens in Austin, Texas from May 29th to June 1st, and it will start off on the opening day with the Netflix and Universal Television drama created by Kevin Williamson.
Based on real-life occurrences, this series delves into the trials of the Buckley family as they fight to preserve their faltering fishing dynasty and uphold their heritage. The drama will debut on Netflix starting from June 19th.
After the initial showing, there will be a discussion with Williamson and actors Holt McCallany, Jake Weary, Melissa Benoist, Rafael L. Silva, and Danielle Campbell.

For Season 14, Pluto TV will once again take the reins as the host of the Festival’s Official Badgeholder Lounge. This lounge will feature daily events, themed photo opportunities, and complimentary pedicab rides for badgeholders. Moreover, Pluto TV is organizing a panel discussion titled “Ladies of the Law: Crime Dramas and the Women Who Run Them,” featuring Carrie Preston (“Elsbeth”), Skye P. Marshall (“Matlock”), Kirsten Vangsness (“Criminal Minds: Evolution”), and Amy Kuessner, who is the evp of programming for Pluto TV.
– In this week’s chat: The mastermind behind “Reasonable Doubt,” series creator and showrunner Raamla Mohamed, delves into the process of crafting the show’s captivating soundtrack and explores the significant impact of music within the gripping legal drama now available on Hulu.
Discussing the forthcoming Prime Video series adaptation of E. Lockhart’s “New York Times” best-selling novel “We Were Liars,” executive producers Julie Plec and Carina Adly MacKenzie, as well as author and executive producer E. Lockhart, will share insights. This gripping drama combines elements of tragic love stories and amnesia thrillers. The narrative centers around a 17-year-old girl who goes back to an island near Martha’s Vineyard, a year after a perplexing accident caused her memory loss, in search of answers.
