Nintendo has included “Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones” in the collection of games available for the Game Boy Advance on the Nintendo Switch Online service. Subscribers to Nintendo Switch Online can now locate this game on both the American and Japanese libraries.
To clarify, The Sacred Stones is the eighth installment in the Fire Emblem series, originally released in Japan in October 2004. This game was the second title from the series to be officially localized and launched in North America (May 2005) and Europe (November 2005). The story unfolds independently on the continent of Magvel, focusing on the royal siblings Ephraim and Eirika.
The game “The Sacred Stones” has now been added to “The Blazing Blade,” which is the 7th series installment originally called “Fire Emblem” in English, marking the first time all Game Boy Advance Fire Emblem games are available on Nintendo Switch Online. To clarify, “The Binding Blade,” the 6th overall game and the first GBA title, has been part of the subscription service, but it’s only accessible in Japan, much like how the original GBA release never received an official international release.
Nintendo recently posted fresh trailers for Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones on its American as well as Japanese YouTube platforms. You’ll find both videos conveniently located just beneath this text.
