It might seem logical that an actor like Noah Wyle, who frequently played a doctor, would be adept at healing emotional wounds in real life. Yet, this serves as a reminder that actors are merely performers and have their own awkward moments from the past. For instance, as reported by the New York Times over the weekend, the team behind the Jennifer Hudson Show has a unique tradition: they write a jingle, called the spirit tunnel, to pump up their guests before they go on air. Guests have been grooving to these personalized tunes for a year now, but if someone isn’t feeling it or doesn’t want to dance spontaneously, they can choose not to participate, as Noah Wyle did recently. He confessed that he once fancied himself a breakdancer and attempted the worm at a bar mitzvah, only to fail spectacularly. “I ended up in an inverted position, and it all came crashing down on me,” Wyle recalled. “Then I tried to stick the landing but didn’t. Ever since then, I’ve avoided public dancing.
Nevertheless, Wyle appeared willing to try again at some point in the future, so let’s hope that the J.Hud team saved their melody for a possible comeback.
