If a prequel were made, there seems to be plenty of storyline to develop. However, given Coogler’s comments, it appears unlikely that the prequel will focus on the gangster world.

Sinners is Off to a Great Start at the Box Office

The movie “Sinners” had a fantastic start with a $4.7 million box office take on its preview night. It’s predicted to have a powerful opening weekend, potentially earning between $45 million and $50 million. However, the favorable buzz around the film could push its earnings beyond this expectation. So far, “Sinners” has been praised by critics, boasting a remarkable 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
