The process takes time because I prefer to work on extensive storylines, considering multiple elements at once and contemplating questions like ‘What makes this unique?’ or ‘Where does the narrative go next?’ I constantly adjust my general plans and timelines, moving pieces around for a comprehensive strategy. This approach has been my style since Clone Wars, and it led me to complete that series eventually.
As you work on the current project (Season 2 of Ahsoka), remember to consider how it might influence future events and your subsequent actions. In other words, keep an eye on potential ripple effects that could occur from the developing storylines. At times, it can feel like a juggling act, but I’m always striving to maintain this balance while crafting scenes. I have several scenes mapped out already, which I slot in as needed as the story progresses.
