Star Wars: Zero Company Reveal Trailer Teases Stealthy Tactics In A Galaxy Far, Far Away

At Star Wars Celebration Japan on Saturday, the long-awaited Star Wars: Zero Company was finally unveiled, following some playful banter earlier this week. The captivating cinematic trailer presented the main characters of Zero Company – a team of secret agents who players will command in this tactical, turn-based game. Bit Reactor, working in partnership with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, is responsible for creating Star Wars: Zero Company, which is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in the year 2026.

In the waning moments of the Clone Wars, gamers find themselves assuming the role of Hawks, a once-loyal Republic officer now leading an assorted band of experts on covert missions within enemy territory. Among these characters are a Clonetrooper, a Jedi Knight, and a Mandalorian – all freshly crafted characters specifically designed for this game. Bit Reactor hints that players will engage in a series of strategic operations and investigations as part of Zero Company. In between missions, they have the opportunity to establish a base of operations and collect intelligence through their network of informants.

The game offers a significant focus on customization, allowing players to modify not only Hawks’ appearance and combat role, but also tailor their recruited operatives from an extensive roster of unique Star Wars characters representing various species and classes. These operatives, who are under Hawks’ command in Zero Company, are called “Authored Characters” by Bit Reactor, with whom players can build relationships and develop strong connections. This interaction unlocks combat synergies that can potentially shift the course of a battle.

As a gamer immersed in the Star Wars universe, I can’t wait to share our vision for Star Wars Zero Company. We’re meticulously crafting this game around core design principles that seamlessly blend the captivating Star Wars galaxy with engaging turn-based tactical gameplay. Our goal is to offer a unique Star Wars story set during the Clone Wars era, where your choices truly matter and shape the outcome of the game. The combat will be deep, turn-based, and easy to grasp, all while maintaining a cinematic feel.

Among the various Star Wars games being created at present, one of them is Star Wars Zero Company. As far back as 2021, Quantic Dream, known for Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human, unveiled Star Wars: Eclipse. Moreover, Respawn Entertainment is developing a third installment in the Star Wars Jedi series, while Skydance New Media is secretly working on another intriguing Star Wars game.
