The reason for this strong reaction stems from the fact that fans grew fond of him as the season unfolded. Initially, his tumultuous bond with Olympia left us uncertain about our feelings towards him. Yet, he somehow managed to regain our trust, a point that the creators highlight as the reason behind the immense shock when things took a turn for the worse.
