In Albuquerque, I’ve never before needed to use a gun until this particular TV series. I felt apprehensive about returning because my memories of the city from my childhood aren’t particularly fond. There were certain locations from my youth that struck me as I visited them, thinking, ‘If the old Minka had seen me come back here to film this show, they wouldn’t have believed it.’ It was truly breathtaking and there’s a sense of the divine about it.
