As a dedicated RuneScape player, I can’t help but appreciate the significance of Stone, Sandstone, and Granite in the Dragonwilds, especially when progressing to tier two of the adventure. However, it’s essential to figure out the process for obtaining these resources firsthand.
Regardless if you’re planning to enhance your armor using Adhesive, boost your weaponry with Wild Anima, or strive for the ultimate base shared with your companions in RuneScape Dragonwilds, resource gathering will always be essential. This is because at its core, it remains a survival and crafting game.
If you’re looking to enhance your adventure in RuneScape Dragonwilds and find yourself in need of some specific resources from scratch, here is a guide on how to create Ground Stone, Sandstone, and Ground Granite:
1. To make Ground Stone: Use a hammer on a Rock (found throughout the map) until it turns into 2 Ground Stones.
2. For Sandstone: Collect 3 Clay from any Water source and then use Fire with a Hammer on the Clay to create Mud. Then, use 1 Mud on a Sand Pile to make 5 Sandstones.
3. To obtain Ground Granite: Find a Granite Rock and use a Chisel on it until you have 2 Granite Stones. Use these Granite Stones with Water to create Ground Granite.
How to make Ground Stone, Sandstone & Ground Granite
In RuneScape’s Dragonwilds, to prepare Ground Stone, Ground Sandstone, and Ground Granite, you’ll initially have to unlock the Grindstone. This handy tool transforms your raw materials into their ground forms.
After you’ve successfully opened it, feel free to collect stones and mine Granite and Sandstone which are located on the western part of the Fractured Plains. It’s important to mention that you should upgrade your pickaxe to a Bronze one because neither Bone nor Stone picks can be used for mining those nodes.
After obtaining your Stone, whether it’s Sandstone, Granite, or any other type, simply insert it into the Grinding Stone and you’ll receive its Powdered or Ground form in return.
How to make a Grindstone in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To wear away or reduce any resource, you’ll first have to create a grinding tool, which is called a Grindstone. You can access it by venturing westward from the Fractured Plains and mining a chunk of granite to unlock it.
Once you do, you’ll need to collect the following resources:
- 18 Stone
- 12 Oak Logs
- 6 Iron Bar
- 12 Granite
It’s good news that you can easily obtain both Stone logs and Oak logs. You can simply pick up Stone pieces you find lying around, or if there are no stones available, you can mine and chop down the stone nodes and oak trees instead.
Iron Bars are crafted by smelting Iron Ore in a Smithing Anvil. You can find Iron Ore in Iron Deposits located in the Stormtouched Highlands, and you’ll need a Bronze or higher-grade Pickaxe to extract it. Lastly, Granite is mined using a Bronze or better Pickaxe, which can be found in the western region of the Fractured Plains.
After gathering all necessary items, construct a Grindstone, lay it on the ground, and insert either a Stone (Granite, Sandstone), and you’ll have the required tool at your disposal.
Uses
Ground materials are primarily used for tier two construction.
If your goal is to advance beyond the Bronze Age and establish a superior base, it’s crucial that you gather an abundance of Ground Stone, Sandstone, and Granite, as well as several Oak Logs.
You have all the essential information on collecting Ground Stone, Ground Sandstone, and Ground Granite in RuneScape Dragonwilds. When you’re en route to gather these resources, don’t forget to glance over the early access roadmap for updates about the game, familiarize yourself with its skills, and learn how to acquire Ram Horns and craft the Abyssal Whip.
