FuRyu teases a new juvenile RPG from Monark’s Team Noir

Furysu has unveiled a preview site for an upcoming school-themed role-playing game aimed at younger audiences, currently being developed by Team Noir – the team behind Monark. The company plans to officially announce this new title on April 24th. Additionally, they will be sharing daily updates on social media platform X, a popular choice among Japanese companies.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates! The company has disclosed some of the core team members involved in this project, many of whom were previously part of Monark’s creation. For instance, Tsukasa Masuko is responsible for the BGM, Ryotaro Ito handles the scenario writing, and Kazunari Suzuki supervises the scenarios. However, instead of Aya Nishitani, Gakuto Mikumo—known for his work on Strike the Blood, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, and Metal Gear Survive—will be collaborating with Ryotaro Ito in crafting the scenario. Lastly, FuRyu is keeping us guessing by hinting at eight distinct character theme song composers who will be officially announced during the game’s full unveiling on April 24.

If you’re wondering what those Japanese speech bubbles are all about in our latest teaser announcement, let me clear things up. Here are the translations for each one:

1. “I can’t wait to get my hands on this!” – Anticipation from a gamer excited for the new game release.
2. “Is that a new boss I see?” – A hint of challenge and curiosity as a player spots a potential powerful enemy in the game.
3. “This looks like fun!” – A simple expression of joy and excitement from a gamer experiencing an entertaining aspect of the game.
4. “I’m on it!” – Enthusiasm from a player who is ready to take on the challenge or task presented in the game.
5. “Wow, I didn’t expect that!” – A surprised reaction from a player encountering an unexpected event or twist within the game.

  • I want her to grow jealous of me even for just a bit, by trying to talk with other girls
  • I cannot have confidence unless “I’m liked by the person I like”
  • Nobody notices me just on the time when I want to hear “Are you alright?”
  • I always feel like I might get hated if I speak my true opinions
  • I want someone who can like the true myself exist somewhere out there
  • I’m not feeling comfortable unless I’m the same with everyone. However, if I’m the same, I feel like I’m not myself
