The series “Daredevil: Born Again” was structured to conclude with a suspenseful twist. Confirmation has been received from showrunner Dario Scardapene that there will indeed be more Matt Murdock. Here is what we currently know about “Daredevil: Born Again” season 2.

Season 1 of “Daredevil: Born Again” concludes with Kingpin and his wife controlling New York City under weak authoritarian pretenses. However, Karen Page reappears, and so does Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher or Medium Pun (previously Big Pun). They’ll band together to challenge the police state, while Daredevil aims to regain control of the city.

How does this connect to any greater MCU?

Following the official MCU timeline on Disney+, “Daredevil: Born Again” is the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This implies that it was recently released. Since we’re unsure about the exact events in “Thunderbolts”, we can’t definitively say whether New York will still be under martial law during its release. However, we do know that a “Punisher” special is coming to Disney+ soon, and it will be co-written by Jon Bernthal and Reinaldo Marcus Green.

When is season 2 coming out?

On Instagram, Scardapene announced that the series “Daredevil: Born Again” will debut on Disney+ in March 2026, perfectly timed for Lent.
