CI Games has unveiled an updated version of Lords of the Fallen, dubbed as version 2.0, which packs numerous unexpected elements such as cooperative play with shared progress and a Friend Pass system. Unfortunately, the Steam launch has been postponed.
Sharing progress in the main story is now possible for players in Lords of the Fallen, thanks to an update. However, there are a few conditions: both players should start from the same “New Game” mode and have approximately the same number of defeated bosses. They will keep all their collected loot and maintain full vigor.
As an enthusiast, I’m thrilled about this latest feature – the Friend Pass! Now, I can extend an invitation to someone who doesn’t yet own the game.
In the latest version, you’ll find a new jump control, an improved targeting system, and a revamped character customization feature. The animations have been optimized, making actions like weapon usage and evasion feel more responsive. Additionally, the user interface has been streamlined, and the Umbral Lamp now serves as a navigation aid for your next destination.
Initially posted on Steam, CI Games indicated that their launch was experiencing a minor setback due to a technical problem. However, they noted that version 2.0 would be available for play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store as planned.
