A Big Star Wars Outlaws Surprise Has Been Spoiled By A Leak, As Free Demo Goes Live

This week, an early unveiling of significant news regarding Star Wars Outlaws occurred as a sneak peek of its upcoming DLC titled “A Pirate’s Fortune” surfaced online. The footage provided a glimpse into the forthcoming content and also disclosed its anticipated launch date.

The upcoming, complete unveiling of the trailer, scheduled for April 18 during Star Wars Celebration, indicates that the second installment of downloadable content (DLC) for the game will be released on May 15, following the first one titled “Wild Card”.

According to VGC, A Pirate’s Fortune listing mentions that players will encounter Hondo Ohnaka while battling Stinger Tash and the Rokana Raiders within the Khepi Tomb. Additionally, it is said that this DLC may feature cosmetic items inspired by the TV show Skeleton Crew, such as an outfit for Nix.

Furthermore, a complimentary trial version of Star Wars Outlaws is currently available, enabling players to enjoy the game for approximately three hours without charge. Keep in mind though, any advancements made during the trial will not be transferable to the complete game.

2024 saw the release of Star Wars Outlaws, however, sales did not meet expectations. In response, Ubisoft announced a marketing campaign aimed at boosting the game’s performance.

Meanwhile, it’s worth mentioning that Ubisoft has unveiled plans for Star Wars Outlaws to launch on Nintendo Switch 2. This announcement left tech analysts at Digital Foundry astonished, describing it as “extremely impressive”.

As for other upcoming Star Wars video games, Quantic Dream is developing Star Wars Eclipse, while Amy Hennig and her team at Skydance are working on a separate Star Wars game of their own. Additionally, the highly anticipated Star Wars Zero Company will officially reveal its details on April 19th.
