The television network Peacock has given approval for a new show, titled “Love Island: Beyond the Villa,” which is a spin-off of “Love Island USA.” This series will focus on some contestants from Season 6 and it’s set to debut this coming summer.
The main actors are JaNa Craig, Serena Page, Leah Kateb, Aaron Evans, Miguel Harichi, Kaylor Martin, Connor Newsum, Kenny Rodriguez, Olivia Walker and Kendall Washington. Other former “Love Island” contestants will also make appearances in the series. According to the official summary, the new show follows our favorite participants from Season 6 as they navigate their careers, friendships, fame, and relationships outside of the Love Island villa, all while exploring life in Los Angeles.
In the summer of 2024, “Love Island USA” Season 6 was a breakthrough for Peacock, surpassing all previous American versions of this reality dating show in terms of cultural impact. The original “Love Island,” broadcast on ITV2 in the U.K., has been more widely recognized. However, with Season 6, it became the most-watched reality TV series of that summer, according to Nielsen ratings, and it set a new record as Peacock’s largest reality competition series ever.
In Season 6, it was Serena who emerged victorious alongside partner Kordell Beckham, who unfortunately did not make the cut for the “Beyond the Villa” lineup. Meanwhile, Leah and Miguel ended up as runners-up, while JaNa and Kenny claimed third place.
The scenic location of this show was Fiji. Ariana Madix oversaw the events, while Iain Stirling provided narration. Among those behind the scenes as executive producers were David George, Adam Sher, Simon Thomas, Ben Thursby-Palmer, Claudine Parrish, James Barker, Blake Garrett, Courtney Rosenthall, Richard Cowles, Mike Spencer, Richard Foster, and Chet Fenster.
George, Sher, Foster, and Fenster, along with Sarah Howell and Richard Bye, are among those who serve as executive producers for the L.A. spinoff. This series is jointly produced by ITV America and GroupM Motion Entertainment.
