New game from Silent Hill 2 Remake devs brings to mind Dead Space. Check out the gameplay trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn

The Bloober Team, based in Poland, has unveiled fresh content for their impending survival horror title, Cronos: The New Dawn. We’ve had a glimpse of an exciting new gameplay video, which on occasion shares similarities with Dead Space.

In the video preview, you’ll notice the foes we’ll face in the New World – these are grotesque creatures known as the Orphans. Due to an event called the Change, they have been transformed into abnormal beings, preying upon anything that moves.

Even though we manage to vanquish each Orphan individually, the threat persists. Remnants of these defeated foes can be assimilated by horrifying abominations, significantly enhancing their power. As a result, they’ll become swifter, more robust, and acquire fresh abilities. To prevent battling combined monsters, it is crucial to cremate the bodies of slain adversaries.

Fans of Dead Space might recognize some shared features between the two games, as seen in the trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn. This upcoming game also shares a similar ominous ambiance and the mutated creatures bear a resemblance to necromorphs. Additionally, the protagonist, The Traveler, has a likeness to Isaac Clarke from the Electronic Arts game in terms of his suit design and movement style.
