Innersloth, the creators behind Among Us, have been tirelessly working on an expansion called The Airship for their upcoming version, Among Us 3D. This new edition essentially offers an Among Us experience without the VR capabilities found in the original VR release. Collaborating with Schell Games, this social deduction game was initially unveiled in February 2025, and the developers have hinted that its official launch date will be announced shortly.
The official Among Us 3D social media account and news site have announced the release date for the game, which will be available on PC via Steam starting from now. Players can add the game to their wishlist, with a demo coming soon. Additionally, a Wishlist challenge has been launched offering some exciting freebies at launch if you’re one of the lucky ones who added it to their list.

On May 6th, 2025, Innersloth and Schell Games will make Among Us 3D available for download on PC via Steam. This new version is a three-dimensional reinterpretation of the original Among Us game, offering enhanced features such as proximity voice chat, customizable Crewmates, returning and new mini-games, crossplay compatibility, but it won’t be compatible with the original game.
The game revolves around the themes of camaraderie and deception, where crew members collaborate on tasks while identifying and reporting impostors among them. Now, it offers an engaging 3D experience that accommodates four to ten players in a single lobby. In addition, developers Innersloth have introduced a fresh challenge: by adding the game to your Wishlist, both Crewmates and Impostors can earn rewards!

According to the destinations shown on their Navigation dashboard, each team member can get a new hat when they reach 333,333 Wishlists. At 444,444 Wishlists, another hat will appear in their Wardrobe. When they hit both 555,555 and 777,777 Wishlists, there might be two unconfirmed freebies waiting for them within their Wardrobe. These potential free rewards are expected to be announced later on.
