Aimee Lou Wood Reveals Sarah Sherman Sent Her Flowers After ‘White Lotus’ Star Called Out ‘SNL’ Parody for Being ‘Mean’

Sarah Sherman effectively redeemed herself from the less-than-favorable depiction of Aimee Lou Wood in “Saturday Night Live’s” “White Lotus” spoof.

On Tuesdays, Wood shared via her Instagram Stories that Sherman had sent her a lovely bunch of flowers, following his public disapproval of Wood’s portrayal on “Saturday Night Live.

Wood expressed gratitude for the lovely bouquet, which Sarah Sherman sent, as he posted a photo of a vibrant pink and orange flower arrangement.

On Sunday night, following the airing of SNL’s parody of Mike White’s drama, I took to social media to express my displeasure over their depiction of me in an unflattering skit that mocked my character, Chelsea, portrayed by Sherman, from “White Lotus.

It’s too bad because I had such an enjoyable experience watching it a few weeks back,” she expressed then. “Indeed, make fun of it, that’s exactly what the program is intended for, but can’t there be a smarter, more subtle, less trivial approach?

The drawing labeled “The White POTUS” primarily focused on Donald Trump and his supporters, as tariffs caused chaos in the world economy. It featured James Austin Johnson portraying the president, Chloe Fineman as Melania Trump, Mikey Day as Donald Trump Jr., and Jon Hamm as Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. The character from “White Lotus,” played by Chelsea, was the only one who made an appearance in the pre-recorded scene.

Humorously, Hamm’s character RFK, disguised as Walton Goggins’ Rick, suddenly says, “I’ve been having these wild thoughts, such as what if we removed fluoride from the water supply? How would that affect people’s teeth?” The scene then shifts to Sherman as Chelsea, with a heavily emphasized accent and oversized dentures. She questions, “What’s fluoride?
