xQc lashes out at ExtraEmily for making a “mockery” of Twitch ban over unsafe driving

After serving her ban for running a red light, ExtraEmily has resumed streaming on Twitch. However, another popular influencer, xQc, seems less than pleased with the way Emily handled her apology for her actions.

On April 13th, Twitch imposed a second ban on ExtraEmily, doing so only a few hours following an incident where the streamer broadcasted herself running a red traffic light on her live stream.

She confirmed the occurrence, stating, “It’s quite common,” she added, describing how in Austin, the traffic lights tend to be lengthy, so she often drives through without stopping, adding that it’s generally accepted behavior.

After serving a 24-hour suspension on Twitch, ExtraEmily resumed streaming, this occasion taking place inside a driving school. She explained that she required an instructor’s assistance.

As a gamer, I’d put it this way: “Apologizing for my recklessness and admitting it was a blunder, I didn’t quite meet the mark with my comeback stream, according to xQc. He called it a misrepresentation of the situation, not exactly what he’d call an impressive return.

Emily switches her camera’s direction as she chooses to drive through the red traffic signal, due to the extended waiting time at the intersection.

xQc calls ExtraEmily’s Twitch return a “mockery” of recent ban

On March 15, Emily sat in her car, comforting her viewers by sharing that she’s determined to not only survive but grow from the experience. She labeled her live broadcast as “Back to Driver’s Education.

From now on, I’ll take extra precautions. It seems the best course of action is to learn from this incident and avoid repeating it… After all, we’re only human, prone to errors.

During his livestream, xQc criticized her comeback stream, referring to it as an “insincere jest” or “flippant portrayal,” suggesting it was not in keeping with the gravity of the situation at hand.

She’s turning it into a jest, not with any malice intended, but a driving instructor is not the same as an attentive driver; they are two different roles.

Regardless of how skilled a driver you may be, using your phone while driving makes you just as reckless and unintelligent.

In a prior incident, ExtraEmily faced a ban in 2023 due to reckless driving behavior. This included streaming live footage of her focusing on her mobile device instead of the road.

xQc’s reply was concise, quickly transitioning away from the topic, yet it was evident that he seems displeased with how ExtraEmily is managing the situation.
