Variety Seeks Submissions for 2025 Producers to Watch List

EbMaster’s Producers to Watch list is back.

2025’s Annual Notable Up-and-Coming Film Producers List, organized by the Bentonville Film Festival in Arkansas, is now accepting submissions for 2025. In previous years, esteemed producers like Tom Ackerley (of “Barbie”), Jordan Fudge and Jeremy Allen (“The United States vs. Billie Holiday”), Youree Henley (“Priscilla”), Nikkia Moulterie (“Nanny”), Alex Saks (“It Ends With Us”), Karina Manashil (“MaXXXine”), Elisabeth Moss and Lindsey McManus (“Shining Girls”), Rishi Rajani (“Being Mary Tyler Moore”) have been recognized.

As a leading publication in the entertainment sector, EbMaster showcases innovators who are making an impact across various creative fields. Similar to lists for actors, animators, screenwriters, and directors, our ‘Producers to Watch’ focus on recent, ongoing, and future projects by young film producers. (Television showrunners receive separate recognition with their own list.) Occasionally, the chosen producers collaborate or arrange projects with prominent stars; in other instances, they nurture distinctive, eclectic voices and help bring those creative ventures to fruition.

Following the organization and unveiling of the ‘Producers to Watch in 2023’ at Sun Valley during American Film Market’s virtual gathering in 2020, and previous years at the Cannes Film Festival, EbMaster is thrilled to collaborate with the Bentonville Film Festival, taking place from June 16-22. When feasible, the festival will provide a platform for the honorees to discuss their journey in the industry, and also screen some of their productions.
