Warside bears a striking resemblance, bordering on identical, to Advance Wars, especially when it comes to their maps, buildings, battles, and troops. The similarities are quite evident, suggesting they hail from the same Nintendo tactics series. What sets Warside apart is that its Commanders feature a more authentic pixel art design compared to the anime style used in Advance Wars.
