Stepleaker has announced that the upcoming 2.4 update for “Wuthering Waves” will introduce two new characters: Cartethyia and Lupa. Many of you may be familiar with Cartethyia, as she plays a significant role in the main story of Rinascita. It’s anticipated that she will be an Aero unit who wields a sword, which aligns with her use of a sword in the narrative.

Currently, there isn’t much information available about the character named Lupa since she hasn’t been introduced in the game yet. However, leaks hint at her potential role as a powerful 5-star Fusion unit, possibly wielding a Broadblade.

Version 2.5

In the upcoming update 2.5 of Wuthering Waves, you’ll be thrilled to meet two fresh characters! Based on recent leaks, it seems that Phrolova will debut as a 5-star Havoc Resonator in this version. Although Stepleaker didn’t specify her weapon type, Phrolova is often depicted using a Red Spider Lily, which suggests she might be a user of the Rectifier class due to her ability to control Tacet Discords with it.

Additionally, it’s possible that version 2.5 may include a new female character called a Resonator. At this point, we don’t have much information about her, but she might be a 4-star unit, marking her as the first and only 4-star character in Rinascita so far.
