Vampire Survivors, the game that took Steam by storm and left Valve astonished, has been consistently updating since its release. Many games similar to it have emerged since then, such as Halls of Torment and Death Must Die, but VS remains relevant. The latest update, named “Emerald Diorama”, is a free DLC inspired by the SaGa series. One of the new features in this DLC is “The Coop”, which isn’t a cooperative mode like you might think, but rather a pen or enclosure for poultry. The intriguing achievement to unlock here is the “Gaze of Gaea”. To earn it, you must avoid killing any enemies on that stage, which may seem simple but can be challenging in a game focused on eliminating hordes of enemies. How can this be accomplished effortlessly?
Defeating 0 enemies in The Coop for Gaze of Gaea achievement in Vampire Survivors
In Vampire Survivors, your accomplishments can be quite rewarding as they often match up with game unlockables. This means you not only receive a virtual trophy and a sense of achievement, but also a fresh item to employ. To obtain the Gaze of Gaea, however, an unusual challenge awaits – you must vanquish zero enemies in The Coop stage. Given that this game is all about battling swarms of adversaries, how can one achieve such a feat?
It might come as a shock, but once you’ve got everything organized, it’s actually quite simple. The initial step is to gain access to The Coop stage, and that requires collecting 500 Floor Chickens scattered throughout the game. These items resemble roasted chicken bodies and restore 30 HP when picked up.
Once you’ve unlocked the arena, select a character who doesn’t rely on projectile weapons for combat. Characters like Divano, Gallo, Keitha, or Trouser would be suitable choices. Additionally, ensure that no Arcanas are active at the start of the game and discard your first weapon choice immediately after the game begins.
Once all the preparations are complete, the main part is to stay put and avoid any erratic movements that might resemble running chickens. Ideally, remain stationary in your initial location. You’ll notice that the timer at the top won’t start counting until the first enemy has been defeated. Don’t fret about this, as after a minute of avoiding conflict, you’ll see a cutscene and earn the achievement. Good luck!
