Massive spoilers abound.
“Common People”

Every year on their anniversary, Mike (Chris O’Dowd) and Amanda (Rashida Jones) visit the restaurant named “The Juniper,” which seems like a deliberate reference to the episode titled “San Junipero.
A common theme running through all seven seasons of Black Mirror is the song “Anyone Who Knows What Love Is (Will Understand),” which made its debut in “Fifteen Million Merits” and has since reappeared in “White Christmas,” “Men Against Fire,” “Crocodile,” “Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too,” and the most recent season’s “Joan Is Awful.” This time around, a pair performs it at the Juniper.
Amanda instructs young learners on self-governing bees, a topic that might initially appear unrelated, but is actually the central theme for season three’s “Hated in the Nation.
In the hospital lobby’s vending machine, where Gaynor, played by Tracee Ellis Ross, persuades Mike in the show “Rivermind”, there’s a mention of Ditta – a subtle Easter egg hinting towards the main company setting for most of “Bête Noire”.
Amanda and Mike pass by a cinema screening “Hotel Reverie”, the third-episode movie of this current season, as they travel along.
One of Amanda’s promotional posts for Honey Nugs mentions that they are manufactured by Ditta, a subtle reference to the upcoming chapter.
When Amanda and Mike discuss Amanda’s health with Gaynor, there’s a faint view of Skillane Legal’s office down the corridor, a subtle link to the law firm that appeared in “Joan Is Awful.” This law firm is also symbolic of Victoria Skillane, the main character from season two’s “White Bear.” Given Rivermind’s history, it’s possible they often face legal action.
One of the customers who shells out for Mike to set a mouse trap on his tongue goes by “I_AM_Waldo,” likely a nod to season two’s “The Waldo Moment” rather than the fellow known for his striped sweater.
“Bête Noire”

In the upcoming episode, Verity (Rosy McEwen) will significantly alter reality by changing a name, but an initial hint of a hat belonging to Maria’s (Siena Kelly) boyfriend from Barnies, a restaurant previously featured in four episodes: “White Christmas,” “Shut Up and Dance,” “Metalhead,” and “Joan Is Awful.” However, there might be some confusion as the restaurant’s name is either Barnies or Bernies. As always with Brooker, viewers may find themselves puzzling over plot details, with Maria’s boyfriend working at Barnies initially and Verity changing it to Barnies in a heated office debate at Ditta.
Verity’s past employment listed on her LinkedIn profile also features WayHaven Travel, a well-known hotel chain that was significantly highlighted during season three’s captivating episode titled “Shut Up and Dance.
You can quickly identify a Tuckersoft structure opposite Ditta, a tribute to the company highlighted in “Bandersnatch” and mentioned in several other episodes as well.
When Verity consumes Luisa’s almond milk, it’s noticeable that the brand is Raiman, which coincidentally shares a name with a character from “Men Against Fire.” In this series, we learned that her family in the story owned a farm. Interestingly, Bob Daly was also seen drinking the same brand in “USS Callister.
“Hotel Reverie”

When Kimmy (Awkafina) sits down with Judith (Harriet Walter) to discuss reviving Hotel Reverie, a pair of posters in the background serve as Easter eggs. One, The White Bear, is an overt reference to the second season’s episode with the same title. The other, however, is meant for those in the know. On the left, there’s a poster advertising a film titled Haven Green. Interestingly, this was the working title for this season of Black Mirror. (Many projects keep their identities under wraps until they’re officially announced by using pseudonyms.) The cast includes Tony Kearns and Giselle Turner, who edited “Bandersnatch” and operated the camera on “Bête Noire,” respectively.
When Brandy (Issa Rae) searches for clips of Dorothy (Emma Corrin) online, she uses a video platform called Pia’s Video Archives. This platform is named after the character Pia, who was the curator of videos in season six’s “Loch Henry”. One of the suggested videos on the sidebar is titled “What Fans Often Mistake About Classic Space Fleet” (a nod to the show that inspired “USS Callister”), and another is “Demon 79: The Actual Terrifying Tale Behind a Cult Classic”, a hint at last season’s “Demon 79”.
An assistant announces, “Here’s Pepe from Streamberry,” a subtle reference to the company that transforms Joan’s life into content in “Joan Is Awful.” Later on, it becomes apparent that the meeting with Pepe was successful, as Streamberry is set to be the main sponsor for the new Hotel Reverie.
Among the staff members at Hotel Reverie, one employee can often be spotted donning a Space Fleet uniform (similar to USS Callister) and operating devices reminiscent of Tuckersoft computers (as seen in Bandersnatch).
– The package left on Brandy’s doorstep hints that she resides at Junipero Drive, maintaining San Junipero’s reputation as the show’s most subtly referential episode.
“Plaything”

As a movie enthusiast, let me clarify that the upcoming film isn’t exactly a follow-up to “Bandersnatch,” but rather, it shares some connections. The Tuckersoft logo, the poster for what appears to be “Bandersnatch II,” and the return of Will Poulter’s character Colin Ritman are not just Easter eggs hidden in the background; they’re significant plot elements that tie the stories together. We didn’t want you to assume we’d overlooked them by chance.
In 1994, Tuckersoft was delving into the development of “Striking Vipers II,” which is a nod to the game featured in “Striking Vipers.
• The most poignant moment in this episode is the poster on Colin’s desk, showcasing a picture of Waldo from “The Waldo Moment.
“Eulogy”
In this sad turn of events, we didn’t manage to find anything during this episode, likely due to its unique setting within digitally crafted recollections. Previously in Black Mirror, there have been episodes with no hidden references, and it seems that this is the one for 2025. Some might argue that its quality makes it the best, but whether these two factors are connected is up for debate among fans.
“USS Callister: Beyond Infinity”

In my perspective, the sequel to an episode in Black Mirror initially unfolds within a self-enclosed, egg-absent universe reminiscent of Bob’s (Jesse Plemons) virtual garage. However, around the one-hour mark, it subtly introduces a few nods to cater to the devoted fans, like the obscure box on the upper shelf labeled SaitoGemu, a company that crafted the chilling VR experience from “Playtest.
In the same vein as “USS Callister” and “Bête Noire,” Bob presents Nanette with a carton of Raiman-produced chocolate milk.
I’m one of your allies who’s been keeping tabs, and I noticed something interesting about our nemesis – she has an “Ashley O” banner on her computer screen. It seems to be a nod to the character from “Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too,” hinting at Miley Cyrus’ influence on her style, which could potentially provide us with a unique angle in understanding her tactics or motivations.
Are Nida and Gaap, characters from “Demon 79,” venturing into the Infinity to eliminate the Callister? It seems to be the same actors, Anjana Vasan and Paapa Essiedu, although their appearance doesn’t make much sense from a narrative perspective, so it might just be a fun choice for casting.
In Bob’s digital garage, you’ll find a blurry advertisement for a movie titled “Valdack’s Revenge” subtly placed in the backdrop. This movie serves as an intriguing reference or hidden tribute within the storyline, known as an Easter egg. In the original “USS Callister,” Billy Magnussen played Valdack, the game’s antagonist, and a similar poster can be spotted in Stefan’s room from the narrative of “Bandersnatch.
Nanette is currently hospitalized at St. Juniper’s Hospital, isn’t that information already implied?
The news story about Walton’s arrest, displayed at the bottom, makes several connections to this season’s episodes. It mentions that Hotel Reverie is now available on Streamberry and Thronglets 2 is in production. Additionally, it provides updates on the sinister Rivermind from “Common People.” Two other headlines delve further with the announcement of Former UK PM Michael Callow joining Celebrity Vet School, a reference to the original Black Mirror episode, “The National Anthem,” and the discovery of a mysterious Talisman in Plane Wreckage, which could be a hint towards “Demon 79.
