Alexander Skarsgård goes rogue in the new trailer for “Murderbot.”

The science fiction comedy “Murderbot,” inspired by Martha Wells’ best-selling book series, features Skarsgård as a security unit struggling to conceal its autonomy while undertaking a perilous mission. The ensemble includes Noma Dumezweni (“Presumed Innocent”), David Dastmalchian (“Late Night with the Devil”), Sabrina Wu (“Abbott Elementary”), Akshaye Khanna (“Chhaava”), Tattiawna Jones (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), and Tamara Podemski (“Reservation Dogs”).

The series hails from Paramount Television Studios, with Chris and Paul Weitz (“American Pie”) handling the script, direction, and production duties under their Depth of Field production company.

9th Degree Productions has created “Next Gen NYC,” a series that showcases the lives of a group of friends who grew up under the limelight, or at least in its vicinity for optimal visibility, as they navigate through adulthood, filled with weekend brunches, romantic ups and downs, and unexpected decisions, as stated in a press release.

The show additionally highlights stars from “The Real Housewives” franchise, such as Kandi Burruss, Teresa Giudice, Meredith and Seth Marks, and Kim Zolciak-Biermann. Michaline Babich, Shari Levine, David O’Connell, Chaz Morgan, Michelle Schiefen, Lauren Nathan, and Ariel Algus serve as executive producers.

Episodes of “Next Gen NYC” will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.

Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman are back on the road in the Apple TV+ series “Long Way Home.”

Following on from their past escapades in “Long Way Round,” “Long Way Down,” and “Long Way Up,” McGregor and his long-standing friend embark on a fresh journey that leads them across the Arctic Circle, Scandinavia, Scotland, and ultimately England. This epic trip takes them through fifteen nations, allowing them to interact with locals and engage in diverse activities.

The show is co-produced by McGregor and Boorman, with David Alexanian and Russ Malkin also contributing as producers and directors.
