Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar’s Premium Edition Is Also Launching On Nintendo Switch 2

The farming simulation game “Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar” is also set to release on the rumored Nintendo Switch 2, in addition to its previously announced versions for Nintendo Switch and PC. To be precise, there will actually be two editions – standard and Premium – available physically for both Nintendo consoles starting August 27. Interestingly, games like “Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma” that have been recently unveiled for multiple platforms are also following this trend, with the Switch 2 versions priced $10 higher than the Switch and PC versions. Pre-orders for these Switch 2 and Switch editions can be placed at Amazon and Best Buy now.

The Grand Bazaar is an updated version of the 2008 Nintendo DS game bearing the same title. This was unveiled during a Nintendo Direct presentation in March. From what we can see, Story of Seasons seems to offer another tranquil experience within the farming/life simulator genre due to improved graphics, the addition of a wind glider as transportation, new characters and storylines, and for the first time ever, full voiceovers in the franchise.

Originally named Harvest Moon, the game is now called Story of Seasons due to a change in distribution rights many years ago. This might be confusing since Harvest Moon games are still being produced, but if you’re an old fan looking to return to its peaceful setting, remember to search for Story of Seasons instead.

More Farming/Life Sims for Nintendo Switch & Switch 2

In contrast to Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma’s Premium Edition being available for preorder, which is compatible with the original Nintendo Switch, an upgrade for the New Nintendo Switch can be purchased from the eShop separately. Meanwhile, a standard edition for the New Nintendo Switch is also up for pre-purchase in physical form. Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is set to release on June 5, allowing ample time to enjoy its action-focused farming/life simulation gameplay before Grand Bazaar’s August 27 debut.

Over the last few years, numerous titles from the Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, and Rune Factory series have been released, leaving fans eagerly waiting for Guardians of Azuma and Grand Bazaar. If you’re looking for something to keep you entertained in the meantime, here are some physical editions of games within these franchises available on Nintendo Switch that you can purchase:

1. Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (Limited Edition)
2. Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition
3. Rune Factory 4 Special
4. Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns (Collector’s Edition)
