On April 22, developers Ishtar Games and publisher Nacon are set to release a new DLC expansion titled “Elves of Amberwald” for the game “The Last Spell” on Steam for PC.
As a dedicated gamer immersed in the magical world of “The Last Spell – Elves of Amberwald”, I’m thrilled to share that we’re unveiling a fresh map, playable Elven warriors, and a host of new challenges! This exciting expansion will be available for $7.99 when it drops on Steam. But wait, there’s more! Alongside this DLC, the base game is getting an upgrade too. On April 22nd, the PC version of Ishtar Games’ hit tactical RPG, The Last Spell, will grow with its second DLC titled Elves of Amberwald. This new expansion can be purchased for $7.99 and offers exciting new challenges, game mechanics, weapons, and tools. Additionally, it includes a fresh map and introduces a new race to join your squad of heroes.
Currently, The Last Spell is fully published by Ishtar Games under the ownership of NACON. On Steam alone, it boasts a Very Positive rating based on more than 11,000 user reviews. Since its release in 2023, it has sold close to half a million copies across all available platforms.

In the latest expansion for Amberwald, players will explore a fresh map featuring the ominous Living Forest. This forest is unlike any other as its trees draw sustenance from their adversaries’ blood, magical roots crisscross beneath your characters’ feet, and darkness brings the land to life with vengeance and malice towards potential threats. Moreover, this DLC introduces Elves as a new playable character class, granting them exceptional control over nature, hunting skills, and an innovative defensive mechanism called Seeds, providing players with exciting chances to shift the course of battle.
In the game, the wicked forces of The Last Spell continue to be relentlessly aggressive and powerful. Yet, the Elves of Amberwald, similar to the Dwarves of Runenberg (the initial DLC), introduce exciting new strategic possibilities for combating these malicious creatures. On April 22nd, there’s a complimentary upgrade for The Last Spell base game arriving, which introduces significant modifications to the Apocalypse system with Apocalypse 2.0. This update offers more customized difficulty settings. Additionally, an eagerly anticipated adjustment to game balance will be implemented, focusing on weapon, perk, and Dwarves Perks equilibrium, along with improvements in user experience and bug fixes for a smoother gaming experience.
