Wittrock is set to portray Milton Hershey, who, together with his wife Kitty (Daddario), established a thriving candy business that eventually funded their charitable endeavors. In the year 1909, they initiated the Hershey Industrial School, offering education and shelter at no cost to orphans and underprivileged children.

Two decades prior to his passing, Milton donated most of his wealth to the Milton Hershey School Trust, laying the foundation for one of the nation’s most substantial educational endowments. Meanwhile, the Hersheys established a town alongside their chocolate factory and provided amenities such as theaters, recreation centers, and public transportation for their employees.

Milton set up the Milton Hershey School Trust with a significant portion of his wealth twenty years before he died, creating one of the largest educational endowments in the country. The Hersheys, when building a town around their chocolate factory, also constructed entertainment venues, recreational facilities, and public transport for their workers.

Hershey” originates from Dandelion Media in collaboration with the Hershey Entities, along with Aloe Entertainment, Peachtree Group, and RCM3. UTA handles global representation of rights. The release is scheduled for 2026, coinciding with America’s 250th anniversary.
